Adam S. Jaffe founded ATL Family Lawyers. His goal was to incorporate the aggressive and intense team environment of large law firms with the specific focus and customer service of smaller legal practices. Today, ATL Family Lawyers is one of the most successful and experienced boutique law firms in Atlanta and Georgia, and encompasses all of these things and more. Adam serves as ATL Family Law's Senior Partner and is one of the best trial and litigation lawyers in Atlanta and the State of Georgia.
Over the past 17 years, Adam has become the elite of Atlanta and Georgia trial lawyers and litigators. Adam has won major cases in every single area of his Civil and Criminal Trial Practice in Georgia. He has dominated Atlanta and Georgia Courtrooms in the most complex national custody cases to million dollar verdicts to beating the Federal Government in criminal trials. His practice areas include all simple and complex family law matters including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support,modifications, visitation, paternity, prenuptial agreements, mediation, LGBT family rights, division of property, contempt, alimony and spousal support. His experience also includes simple and catastrophic auto accidents & personal injury, major medical malpractice, simple and complex criminal defense, and breach of contract. During his 17 year career, Adam has litigated, tried, settled and won thousands of cases to conclusion in Federal, Superior, State and Magistrate courts (both statewide and nationally). With his recent jury verdict in the amount of $1,060,000.00, Adam achieved elite status as one of the few lawyers in the State of Georgia who has won major trials in all of his areas of both civil and criminal trial practice.
Adam was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He obtained a B.A. in Rhetoric at the University of Georgia. There, he advocated as counsel for the UGA Defender-Advocate Society, where his talent was highly recognized and rewarded. Adam was also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa (an elite national leadership honor society) and Leadership UGA (top student leaders). During his studies he was named a Richard B. Russell Leadership Fellow.
Adam obtained his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. There, he was President of the Loyola Law School Board of Advocates and was a member of the National Trial Team, where he won the first championship in Loyola Law school history. He also coached and won with the Association of Trial Lawyers of America trial team, and the Louisiana State Bar Trial Team, where he was named champion.
Adam lives in Atlanta with his wife, Allie, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and is looking forward to the arrival of the couple's first child in July 2016.

David Levine, Esq.
As a Partner at ATL Family Lawyers, David C. Levine is committed to bringing personal attention and professional service to all of the firm’s clients. Mr. Levine serves as ATL Family Lawyers' Director of Case and Client Management.
Mr. Levine received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Georgia in 1999, and his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2007.
Mr. Levine brings over 10 years of experience practicing law with his own firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL to the team at ATL Family Lawyers. Before attending Law School Mr. Levine worked as a Financial Adviser for Morgan Stanley and Prudential where he enjoyed assisting his clients in protecting and growing assets and wealth. Using this experience and knowledge, he is able to uniquely assist his clients with the potential financial impacts of divorce.
Mr. Levine is proud to be a Partner at ATL Family Lawyers, and thrives on using his past experience and expertise to help clients navigate family law matters.

Danielle D. Davis, Esq.
Title: Senior Associate
Danielle D. Davis is a senior attorney at ATL Family Lawyers. She received her Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law and a minor in Sociology from Georgia State University. Danielle then received her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, Danielle was actively involved in the mediation practicum as well as several judicial internships. She was a member of the University of Georgia’s inaugural Negotiation Completion Team and competed in the American Bar Association Regional Competition. She was also a member of the University of Georgia’s BLSA Mock Trial Team, where her team placed first place in the Southern region “Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition” and were Quarter-Finalist in the National Competition.
In 2009, Danielle began her legal career working with a boutique family law firm. The intimacy of boutique law firms have provided Danielle significant hands on experiences working one on one with clients from start to finish.

Shaun Bussert, Esq.
Title: Senior Associate
A native of Decatur, Georgia, Shaun attended Ball State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. While at Ball State, he was a member of the varsity men’s tennis team and led the team to a conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA tournament as a senior. Shaun was also a 3-time NCAA ITA Academic All-American as well as a member of the Honors College, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Golden Key.
Following his undergraduate studies, Shaun attended University of Tennessee College of Law. While at Tennessee, Shaun was a member of the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy and the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Team. He also helped establish the Expungment Clinic at the school. Additionally, Shaun was the 3L Coordinator of the Legal Aid Advice Clinics his last year and earned several awards including the Legal Aid of East Tennessee Volunteer Law Student Award. Because of his pro bono work, Shaun was also recognized as a Law Student for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court. While in law school, Shaun developed an interest in mediation and completed the Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediation Training.
Shaun lives in Decatur with his fiancé, Whitney. When not in court, Shaun can be found on the court playing national USTA tournaments. He is currently ranked no. 2 in the country with his father in the Senior Father-Son division.
Nishit Patel, Esq.
Title: Associate Attorney
Nishit Patel was born in London, England and immigrated to Florida with his family in the 1980s. After spending a majority of his early years in Orlando, Florida he later attended The University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the Terry College of Business and an Academic Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership from the Institute for Leadership Advancement. Upon graduation, Mr. Patel joined Moore, Stephens, Tiller, LLC. in Atlanta, Georgia, prior to returning to Orlando to attend Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. There, he obtained his Juris Doctor and graduated in the top 20% of his class. Influenced by the wisdom of his professors, he developed a passion for the practice of law and his potential to help others through legal counsel. Mr. Patel believes in building a strong community and the good members of the legal community can do through dedicating their unique skills towards the betterment of all. Mr. Patel has extensive experience in working with the non-profit sector where he found the value in Bar involvement and leadership. While a practicing attorney in Florida, Mr. Patel was honored to serve as the President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Sarasota County Bar Association and to be elected to the Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors where he served two consecutive terms.

Elizabeth Britt is a native to Atlanta. After High School she studied Chemistry and Philosophy at Georgia State University. She excelled at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. She has extensive experience, including practicing Criminal Law, Social Security Disability, and Family Law.

Adam Tomlin, Esq.
Title: Associate Attorney
Adam’s story is the American story. He was born and raised in a small town in Northwest Georgia, where he learned early on the value of hard work, perseverance, and speaking out for those who needed help. Adam completed his undergraduate degree at Oglethorpe University, where he stood out as a class senator, created and chaired his fraternity’s judicial board, and was recognized for his volunteerism with the Rich Foundation Urban Leadership Program. After a stint as a financial adviser, Adam decided the best way to honor those values he learned so early on in life was to enroll in Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. It was there where he found his calling to be a voice for those who could not speak for themselves. Feeling a strong desire to help those who could not defend themselves, Adam interned with the Cherokee Judicial Circuit’s Public Defender’s Office. He practiced under the Student Practice act and successfully defended clients in every step of the criminal justice process. Upon passing the Bar, Adam began to work for a family law firm. Ultimately, he decided that family law is the best area to practice in order to help those who need it the most.
Christina Broadway, Esq.
Title: Associate Attorney
Christina is a graduate from Liberty University with a B.S. in Government Pre-Law. She was a member of the Theater Arts program and participated in many theatrical productions while attending undergraduate school.
Christina graduated with her Juris Doctor from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. While in law school, Christina served as an articles editor on Faulkner Law Review and competed around the U.S. as a member of Jones’ trial advocacy competition teams. Additionally, she was a finalist in her 1L moot court competition.
Before becoming an attorney at ATL Family Lawyers, Christina served as a summer associate, assisting with conducting research, drafting pertinent memoranda, motions, and complaints.
Christina is originally from Marietta, GA. She grew up with the law in mind. She had a passion for debate from the moment she learned how to speak, and learned how to channel it to its necessary venue- becoming an attorney. She used that passion to care for others and make sure they obtain justice. In her spare time, she volunteers at churches to sing with her family. Additionally, she plays the cello, reads, and enjoys acting.
Title: Pre-Bar Associate
Hayley was born and raised in Sandy Springs, Georgia.. She obtained her BA in English Language Arts and Linguistics from The University of Alabama in 2013 and finished her JD at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. During her time in law school she served as the Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, Hollowell chapter, Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and an engaged member of the Family and Juvenile Law Society.
Hayley joined ATL Family Lawyers as an intern in January 2017 and practiced under the Student Practice Act. She is excited to continue preparing to take the Georgia bar exam. She has been passionate about Domestic Relations and Family Law for many years and looks forward to continuing that passion to ensure the legal process is seamless and understood for our clients.
Title: Office & Client Care Director
As the Client Coordinator for ATL Family Lawyers, Frances Astren has been with ATL Family Lawyers for more than seven years. Frances is an authority on moving cases to conclusion. She believes in elite client services and “being a great listener”. Frances went to the University of Georgia, and then pursued a career in the telecommunications industry prior to joining ATL Family Lawyers. She is a Georgia native, with two adorable granddaughters who are the apple of her eyes.
Title: Senior Paralegal
Sabrina joined ATL Family Lawyers in August of 2015. Sabrina specializes in Family Law, and also has an extensive background in Personal Injury Law. She obtained her BS in Paralegal Studies and Criminal Justice from Everest University in 2012. Sabrina is passionate about ensuring that each and every one of our clients receives the highest level of dedication and attention, and truly enjoys the opportunity that she has at ATL Family Lawyers to make a positive difference in each of her client's lives.
Title: Reception and Client Administrator
Britt moved from New York to Atlanta, Georgia in the early 2000s with her family to experience a new environment. She attended Georgia Piedmont Technical College for Accounting and General Studies prior to becoming a team member of ATL Family Lawyers. Britt has multiple years of experience in a professional office setting, where she collaborates her communication and administrative skills to assist her colleagues and clients with the highest level of service. Britt really enjoys being of assistance where it is needed and cherishes every moment she has with her loved ones.
