David Levine, Esq.

As Senior Partner & Co-Director of Case and Client Management at ATL Family Lawyers, David C. Levine is committed to bringing personal attention and professional service to all of the firm’s clients.
David brings over 10 years of experience practicing law with his own firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL to the team at ATL Family Lawyers. During his time in Florida, David quickly became one of the most assertive and attentive lawyers in the state. As such, David was sought out to bring his legal talents and caring nature to the clients of ATL Family Lawyers.
Mr. Levine received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Georgia in 1999, and his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2007.
Before attending Law School Mr. Levine worked as a Financial Adviser for Morgan Stanley and Prudential where he enjoyed assisting his clients in protecting and growing assets and wealth. Using this experience and knowledge, he is able to uniquely assist his clients with the potential financial impacts of divorce.
Mr. Levine is proud to be a Partner at ATL Family Lawyers, and thrives on using his past experience and expertise to help clients navigate family law matters.
In his free time Mr. Levine enjoys spending time with his wife Ilisa and their two dogs – Grace & Samson. Additionally, Mr. Levine enjoys competitively competing in Triathlons, hiking, road & mountain biking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and deep sea & spear fishing.
Shaun Bussert, Esq.
Title: Managing Partner and Co-Director of Case and Client Management
Shaun is one of the most aggressive & experienced young Domestic and Family Litigators in Georgia. He has tried, won and settled Domestic & Family cases in practically every single county in Georgia. Due to his vast experience and success, Shaun became one of the youngest Managing Partners in the State at ATL Family Lawyers.
Shaun attended University of Tennessee College of Law. While at Tennessee, Shaun was a member of the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy and the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Team. He also helped establish the Expungment Clinic at the school. Additionally, Shaun was the 3L Coordinator of the Legal Aid Advice Clinics his last year and earned several awards including the Legal Aid of East Tennessee Volunteer Law Student Award. Because of his pro bono work, Shaun was also recognized as a Law Student for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court. While in law school, Shaun developed an interest in mediation and completed the Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediation Training.
A native of Decatur, Georgia, Shaun attended Ball State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. While at Ball State, he was a member of the varsity men’s tennis team and led the team to a conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA tournament as a senior. Shaun was also a 3-time NCAA ITA Academic All-American as well as a member of the Honors College, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Golden Key.
Shaun lives in Decatur with his fiancé, Whitney. When not in court, Shaun can be found on the court playing national USTA tournaments. He is currently ranked no. 2 in the country with his father in the Senior Father-Son division.
Danielle D. Davis, Esq.
Title: Senior Associate
Danielle D. Davis is a senior attorney at ATL Family Lawyers. She received her Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law and a minor in Sociology from Georgia State University. Danielle then received her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, Danielle was actively involved in the mediation practicum as well as several judicial internships. She was a member of the University of Georgia’s inaugural Negotiation Completion Team and competed in the American Bar Association Regional Competition. She was also a member of the University of Georgia’s BLSA Mock Trial Team, where her team placed first place in the Southern region “Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition” and were Quarter-Finalist in the National Competition.
In 2009, Danielle began her legal career working with a boutique family law firm. The intimacy of boutique law firms have provided Danielle significant hands on experiences working one on one with clients from start to finish.

Title: Associate Attorney
Elizabeth grew up in Metro Atlanta. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor's in Science in Chemistry and a minor in Philosophy. While attending Georgia State she was a member of the Chemistry Club, as well as the Philanthropy and Education Boards for her sorority.
After college, she started working in the legal field preparing documents at a law firm in downtown Atlanta. It was this work experience that lead her to decide to go back to school to become an attorney. Elizabeth attended Atlanta's John Marshall School of Law. While attending law school she received awards for her work in Estate Planning as well as Patent Law. She also participated in many events with the National Association of Women Lawyers. After law school she begin her legal career working in criminal law as well as with Social Security Disability helping claimants who would otherwise have no recourse.
When she is not practicing law, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, and reading. She enjoys doing all these things with her beagle right by her side, even taking him with her to volunteer with The Homeless Pet Foundation.
Elizabeth brings a sincere dedication and passion to provide the absolute best care and service to her clients as possible.

Hayley was born and raised in Sandy Springs, Georgia.. She obtained her BA in English Language Arts and Linguistics from The University of Alabama in 2013 and finished her JD at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. During her time in law school she served as the Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, Hollowell chapter, Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and an engaged member of the Family and Juvenile Law Society.
Hayley joined ATL Family Lawyers as an intern in January 2017 and practiced under the Student Practice Act. She is excited to continue preparing to take the Georgia bar exam. She has been passionate about Domestic Relations and Family Law for many years and looks forward to continuing that passion to ensure the legal process is seamless and understood for our clients.

Sabrina joined ATL Family Lawyers in August of 2015. Sabrina specializes in Family Law, and also has an extensive background in Personal Injury Law. She obtained her BS in Paralegal Studies and Criminal Justice from Everest University in 2012. Sabrina is passionate about ensuring that each and every one of our clients receives the highest level of dedication and attention, and truly enjoys the opportunity that she has at ATL Family Lawyers to make a positive difference in each of her client's lives.
Melissa recently moved back to the Metro Atlanta area from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Chattanooga State Community Technical College. Melissa is very excited to be a part of the team at ATL Family Lawyers and is always committed to doing her very best to ensure every client is treated with the respect and compassion they deserve.
Originally from Peachtree City, Georgia, Caitlin graduated from the University of Georgia with her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Caitlin prides herself on being a very driven person with a passion for providing excellence in client service. She is thrilled to be a member of the ATL Family Lawyers team, and truly enjoys having the daily opportunity to assist our clients.
Adam Scott Jaffe, Esq.

Adam S. Jaffe founded ATL Family Lawyers. His goal was to incorporate the aggressive and intense team environment of large law firms with the specific focus and customer service of smaller legal practices. Today, ATL Family Lawyers is one of the most successful and experienced boutique law firms in Atlanta and Georgia, and encompasses all of these things and more. Adam is one of the best trial and litigation lawyers in Atlanta and the State of Georgia, and in lieu of representing clients, he now uses his vast experience outside of the courtroom as the Director of Marketing and New Client Acquisition.
Over the past 18 years, Adam has become the elite of Atlanta and Georgia trial lawyers and litigators. Adam has won major cases in every single area of his Civil and Criminal Trial Practice in Georgia. He has dominated Atlanta and Georgia Courtrooms in the most complex national custody cases to million dollar verdicts to beating the Federal Government in criminal trials. Adam was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He obtained a B.A. in Rhetoric at the University of Georgia. There, he advocated as counsel for the UGA Defender-Advocate Society, where his talent was highly recognized and rewarded. Adam was also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa (an elite national leadership honor society) and Leadership UGA (top student leaders). During his studies he was named a Richard B. Russell Leadership Fellow.
Adam obtained his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. There, he was President of the Loyola Law School Board of Advocates and was a member of the National Trial Team, where he won the first championship in Loyola Law school history. He also coached and won with the Association of Trial Lawyers of America trial team, and the Louisiana State Bar Trial Team, where he was named champion.

As the Office Manager and Fee Coordinator for ATL Family Lawyers, Frances Astren has been with ATL Family Lawyers for more than seven years. Frances is an authority on moving cases to conclusion. She believes in elite client services and “being a great listener”. Frances went to the University of Georgia, and then pursued a career in the telecommunications industry prior to joining ATL Family Lawyers. She is a Georgia native, with two adorable granddaughters who are the apple of her eyes.

Britt moved from New York to Atlanta, Georgia in the early 2000s with her family to experience a new environment. She attended Georgia Piedmont Technical College for Accounting and General Studies prior to becoming a team member of ATL Family Lawyers. Britt has multiple years of experience in a professional office setting, where she collaborates her communication and administrative skills to assist her colleagues and clients with the highest level of service. Britt really enjoys being of assistance where it is needed and cherishes every moment she has with her loved ones.
